One of the major keys to getting myself in the mood for my story is my collection of playlists. I usually start with one song and then continually add to the playlist as I write. As mentioned in my last blog, I am currently working on my first read through of my manuscript, codename: Assassin Story. I don’t have an actual title for it yet, just a project name. However, I have a playlist of 35 songs that got me through the writing portion of the project.
Now that I am reading it to make notes of plot holes, typos and et cetera to prepare for editing, I am re-listening to my playlist I used to write. This enables me to get back in the mood I was in when I was writing it. So, for today’s blog, I thought it would be fun to share that playlist with you.
